About The Doctor

Dr. Alissa Tran came to the U.S. in 1980 when she was eleven years old. Her family settled in Denver, Colorado where she graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1985. She then earned a Bachelor of Art Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1989. She received a Masters Degree in Biochemistry at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia in 1992. Next, she attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where she graduated with top honors. She was selected to pursue orthodontic training at University of Maryland in Baltimore. While completing her residency in Orthodontic Dentistry in 2000, Dr. Tran also earned another Masters Degree by conducting research in molecular biology in craniofacial growth and development at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

Dr. Tran has been practicing orthodontics for 20 years and she is committed to providing the highest level of orthodontic care to her patients in achieving their best smile.

Dr. Tran enjoys a healthy, active lifestyle, she loves playing tennis, practicing meditation, traveling, cooking and growing microgreens. She also cherishes time spent with her two sons, Alan and Max, and two dogs.
