Dr. Callie Darrow is excited to provide compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients at Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry. Dr. Darrow earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa in 2015 and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2020. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is committed to continuing her education to provide the best possible care for her patients.
Dr. Darrow's interest in dentistry began during a high school internship, where she discovered the unique opportunity dentists have to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Seeing firsthand how personalized dental care could improve both oral health and confidence inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry.
For Dr. Darrow, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is building lasting relationships with patients and caring for multiple generations of families. She believes patient education is the foundation of lifelong oral health and strives to empower patients to make informed, confident decisions about their care. Her philosophy is simple: treat every patient with the same compassion, honesty, and attention she would give her own family. She is passionate about creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel valued and supported in achieving healthy smiles that last a lifetime.
Outside of the office, Dr. Darrow enjoys spending time with her husband, Alec, whom she met in middle school, and their three children, Dal, Val, and Tal, along with their two dogs, Benny and Bowan. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she loves finding activities they can enjoy together. She has a passion for baking, decorating cakes, and experimenting with sourdough recipes, often with a little help from her children. Dr. Darrow also enjoys staying active, exploring new restaurants, and traveling with her family.
Having grown up in the community she now serves, Dr. Darrow is especially excited to give back through dentistry while raising her own family in a place that helped shape who she is today. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with patients and providing exceptional care for years to come
