Dr. Kyle Nicholson grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa, and has always felt a strong connection to his home state—spending many summers riding RAGBRAI and exploring Iowa’s towns and counties. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys racquet sports, hunting, time with family and friends, and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes.
Dr. Nicholson knew from a young age—around third grade—that he wanted to become a dentist after spending considerable time in the dental chair as a child. He was inspired by the welcoming, family-like atmosphere of the dental office, which sparked his early passion for the profession.
He earned his DDS from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2019, where he also met his wife, Lindsay. They now live in Walford with his two stepsons, and recently welcomed their daughter, Hannah Joy, in 2025.
