Dr. Ellen Sneller is excited to begin her dental career at Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry, serving patients in the Bondurant community. Originally from Ames, Iowa, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Wartburg College before graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2026.
During dental school, Dr. Sneller was recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry with the prestigious **Future Leader in General Dentistry Award**, honoring her leadership, dedication, and commitment to the profession. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Sneller was drawn to dentistry because it combines many of the things she enjoys most—science, working with her hands, attention to detail, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care. Her goal is to help every patient achieve a healthy, beautiful smile while making each visit as positive and stress-free as possible.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Sneller gained valuable experience working in both the front office and as a dental assistant. These roles gave her a unique appreciation for every aspect of the patient experience and shaped her compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Outside the office, Dr. Sneller enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, cheering on college sports, and listening to country music. She also loves spending time with her Goldendoodle, Emme, who was her loyal companion throughout dental school. One of her personal goals is to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks, and she's already explored 10.
Dr. Sneller is excited to join the Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients while helping the Bondurant community smile with confidence.
